'Performer After Anthea Turner' by Jade Anthony
Jade created this piece after seeing a drawing from Anthea Hamilton’s Installation ‘The Squash’ at the Tate Britain. She layered this with an inkjet print from her 2020 exhibition ‘Dark Ergonomics’ at The Hidden Wardobe in Southampton, a commission by 'a space' arts. The piece juxtaposes graphical styles to explore ideas of subject/objecthood in regards to the art object and the performer.
